We have these standard operating procedures for our nail artists to follow to make sure we can serve our guests better.
Nail Artist Responsibilities:Â Â

Nail Artists act as liaisons between our guests and the nail art studio by
- Honoring the 7 Day Guarantee
- Understand that if a guest refuses to return with you for the 7 Day Guarantee we will transfer the commission to the new artist.
- Putting name on walk-in list when ready to take walk-ins.
- Having a clean and neat appearance and wearing an apron.
- Keeping personal phone usage away from guests and other team members
- Make sure guests are comfortable and the studio is orderly.
- Doing fabulous nails and pedicures.
- Post your work from the salon social pages periodically
Nail Artists must follow all TDLR requirements as related to services rendered and also have
- Have TDLR license updated and displayed with a picture in a frame.
- After each pedicure service, sweep around the pedicure bowl, clean and disinfect the area following TDLR rules, fill out the pedicure log.
- After soiling, e-file bits, nippers, pushers clippers, and any other tools that touch guest skin disinfect following TDLR standards.
- Keep soiled tools and implements in a container labeled as dirty tools.
- Keep clean tools in pouches.
- Wash hands thoroughly before working on guests and wear gloves.
Nail Artist should provide a timely enjoyable experience to guests
- Arriving 10 minutes before services are rendered at a minimum.
- Keep side talk to a minimum and only work-related.
- Keep conversations professional.
- Always interacting respectfully.
- Focus on providing a fantastic nail or pedicure service.
- Provide guests with aftercare instructions.
Nail Artist should help other team members
- Provide feedback in private and praise in public
- Don't talk down others work
- Give tips to help each other grow - if asked.
- Keep in mind that we are a team!
Nail artists must maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Put away supplies and tools when done with them.
- Keep cords neatly tucked away.
- Clean up countertop after service, sweep underneath station using a disinfectant solution on the surfaces touched by your guests between services.
- Throw away trash in designated areas and put a new liner in the trash when done for the day.
- Keep all chemical waste in chemical jars.
Nail artists must efficiently manage their schedules by
- Designating their preferred work schedule by keeping their profile updated
- Blocking off any additional time off when the need arises
- Being available to take an appointment up with at least one hour fifteen minutes ahead.
- Let David or Front Desk know when you are running behind to push back other appointments scheduled.
- Help one another by being flexible with schedule during emergencies
