A Russian/meticulous manicure is manicuring technique that uses an electric file to remove the excess skin and cuticle around the nail plate. A Russian manicure is a cleaner manicuring method instead of using nippers and orange sticks to clean up cuticles, and if done correctly safer. During a Russian manicure, an e-file with special bits is used to clean up excess skin around the nail, leaving a smooth surface that will lend itself to long-lasting nail designs with minimal clean-up and cuticle pushing around the nail.
